Hi, You can unlock your Sony Ericsson W395 using the unlock which is provided by the site SuperUnlockCodes.com .You can get the unlock code by providing some information about your phone like the country and the network to which your phone is locked.By providing this information you will get the unlock code via mail, using the unlock code you can unlock your phone to use it with any other GSM network.
the puk code is required when the pin code is written wrong 3
times, to get the puk call your phone service provider the puk is not
related to the phone so if you put in another sim card it will work, or
if you put the locked sim card to another phone then the other phone
will ask for puk.
its simcard protection incase its stolen, 3
times wrong and its locked, eventually if you enter the puk code wrong
too many times it should make the sim card useless so call your phone
service provider its your only option.
Basically whats going on here is that the networks get the phones from sony ericcson in bulk and they are not sold locked to any network . When the network gets these phones they put there own branding on them and lock them to the network , sony ericsson play no part in the locking of the phones so are unable to tell you what the code is to unlock it . For some reason Virgin are unable to actually find out how they locked their own phones so are trying to palm you off with something else . The best way to get this done now is to go to a phone repair shop and get them to unlock it for you .
