Hi,

If I understand your problem right and if you are in the US, it is possible that the Sanyo flat tube TV is using a PAL cant hook up rf input - 650e91e.jpg type female antenna (RF IN) connector while your cable (or aerial) coaxial cable is terminated and using an F type 398377c.jpg. What is needed is an adapter to convert the F to PAL 254abcd.jpg. These are readily available at any electronics parts store.

Should I have mis-interpreted your concern, would appreciate a post back with clarification.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

I don't know how to hook up my Sanyo DVW6000 VCR. A friend gave it to me minus the user manual and remote control. How do I get a control to operate it? That is another problem.

All you need is to connect the RF output to the RF in of the TV or the audio output . video output to the corresponding AV input of the TV. Then put in a tape and press play.

Youc an get manuals from this link:

How do I hook up a VCR to a small Sanyo TV? Thank you

How you hook up the VCR depends on the connections available on the VCR and the TV.

The simplest method is to use a cable from the VCR's RF (antenna) output connector to the TV's antenna input connector and tune the TV to the VCR output channel (3 or 4). You might need to purchase an adapter to switch from the standard plug on the cable to whatever kind of external antenna connector is on the TV. If the set only has a built-in antenna and no external connection at all (which would be quite unusual), you need a "balun" transformer. This has a connector on one end for the cable from the VCR and a flat wire with two terminals on the other end. Attach one of the terminals to the set's antenna with a clip-on jumper wire. Radio Shack sells the parts.

If your VCR does not have RF output but just audio and video jacks, connect those to the TV's a/v inputs if it has them. Again, an adapter cable might be required.

If the TV doesn't have a/v input available, you need an RF converter. This takes the a/v signals from the VCR and produces a channel 3 or 4 output that you can connect to the TV as described above.

It sounds more complicated than it actually is. Once you look at the VCR and TV, and remember that outputs always go to inputs, it's usually pretty clear what needs to be done. If you still have troubles please post a follow-up comment and I'll try to help more.

I HAVE A SAMSUNG MOD. NO TC9823S, LOST REMOTE I WANT TO HOOK A DVD UP ON THIS TV, CANT FIND INPUT CHANNEL, CAN YOU HELP

You need a RF Modulator that outs the signal into the cable input because the TV has only a video input (yellow) but no audio in, only audio out. Radio shack has one for about 29 dollars.

Don't know where the antenna input is on my tv

You can download the manual for this TV from Sanyo here:

http://www.sanyotv.com/CLT2054%20(E)%205071--.pdf

It has all the hookup information for you.

All the input jacks are on the rear of the set, and they are pretty clearly labeled.

You can connect the converter box two ways. One is to use the RF output from the converter to the antenna input on the rear of the TV. Then set the TV to channel 3 or 4, depending on the converter box setting.

The second method, which is better, is to connect the direct video and audio outputs from the converter box to one of the TV's A/V inputs. The cable you need is usually supplied with the converter box. Just follow the color-coded jacks at both ends: red and white for right and left channel audio, yellow for video. Then set the TV to that source. This will give better quality picture and sound from the box.

Please take a moment to rate this solution if it has helped you. Thanks for asking here!

Sanyo TV - DS25390

In your model you have to purchase one video RF converter. RF converter contains one video input in yellow colour and two audio input in red and white colour and one cable connector as output. Connect the dvd output to this converter and tune the tv program in which place you receive dvd signal.
