Try removing the Simcard and reloading it again.Try switching the Simcards[Simcard 1 into Simcard 2 slot and vice versa] i.e to establish if its the Simcard or the phone with a problem. Also, check the Simcard reaction on another phone. If its the Simcard, contact your service provider for further instructions on re-activation.

Hope this helps.Thanks!

I have samsung SGH-T559. If i place a sim card it says phone freeze and shones only sos? IMEI: 355574031036812

they change simcard wrting codes every 6months or when new phones comes out. I had the same problem when i updated my phone,,,new phone have simcards that will only work with the new phone you buy, you will have to have them transfer everything over from your old simcard to your new phone. And they have programs that can do that, so if they say they cant, then possibly they are lying and dont wanna do it. I went to a aftermarket used cell phone store in Sacremento, and they did it for free.

Insert sim

check your sim card first ,clean step is clean your simcard interface by eraser or lacquer thinner ...if still not works ,the sim card driver of your phone is need to replace..this simcard driver is small chips that makes the simcard working ,if it is damage the simcard interface did not recognized the simcard...if the first and second solution not works ,go to a cellphone repair shop to change your sim card driver...
i hope it will help you..thanks

Phone playing up

Hi Melon, this might be a problem with the simcard you are using. It might be too large for your phone's capacity. Try using a simcard that has smaller memory capacity. This happened to me too. Changing the simcard solved my problem. Try it too.
