If you did not program the lock code, sometimes it is just the last 4 digits of the phone number assigned to it for a code.Good luck!

If that doesn't work, you probably should contact verizon first, then samsung because of so many possibilities of codes.

My daughter locked her cell phone up by accident

the default is always one of these code try them all the last four digits of the phonenumber last programmed in the phone aka your number or 9999,1234,4321,0000,1111 if none of those work you can go the retail store for a flash they hook it to the computer and push software to the phone to correct the issue it takes five mins and its free its a common issue for them to correct if you change your lock code from the default in the future always set up a dummy contact with it in there so that you can easily look it up also please vote for me I'm trying to work my way up to expert level and I cant without your vote please

I can't download anything to my verizon prepaid samsung smooth and I want to know if unlocking it would do the trick and where can I the code? PLEASE HELP

Best thing to do is phone your network supplier.

Explain your situation.
The reason for me saying that is we need to check your software and if anything is missing they will update for you.

They can also do a total unlock for you ,if you need it.

Hope it helps.

I need to Progam a Samsung Smooth cell phone.

To Program any Samsung Verizon Phone:
+Go to Menu > Settings (may be listed as settings & tools depending on software version)
+Press the * Key (to the left of zero / 0)
+Enter the Service Programming Code (a.k.a. SPC, MSL, SEC) This code is usually 000000 for most Verizon phones, but if it was purchased prepaid you may have to get it from Verizon. Try 000000 first though.
+Go to Network Settings
You will now be in the programming menu. Enter the information as it pertains to the field indicated.
+When you have entered all of the programming information, press END.
The device will now reset and save the programming information.
