Check that all vent areas are clear of any dust or food packaging. If you have ice build up it needs to be thawed out also because it will only continue freezing until it gets proper airflow.

Which way do I turn the temperature dial on a true 3-door reach-in stainless steel cooler?

Numbered 1-9 - one is the warmest setting, nine is the coldest. For a cooler it should be good on 5 for a freezer 7. If it doesnt work well on those settings the thermostat is usually bad.

What temperature shoud it be on please - it has from 1 to 3

I would suggest setting it on 2. But to eliminate guessing, the dial should be set so the temperature in the freezer compartment is 0 degrees F (-18 C). The best way to ***** this is to put a thermometer in the freezer and adjust the dial until the temperature is steady at 0.

I have a Rank Arena BF260 freezer I got from my dad. There is a switch on the front, if it is to the left, there is no icon on it, if it's to the right it has a snowflake icon show. Dad didn't even realise...

It is the fast freeze switch. It keeps the freezer full on even if it gets down to its operating temperature. You will see the yellow or orange light come on. You do this if you want to add some new item in the upper fast freeze compartment. Make sure you turn it off after about 2 hours.

The back of mt fridge is frozen. I've set the temperature between 4 - 5. If I put food near the back it freezes. What is the best thing to do?

Move items that are susceptible to freezing towards the front. The air circulates in from the back and anything set directly in the airstream will freeze.

No your are Ok . You may be to small on your unit. Check the charge you may be low. Make sure site glass is clear. Also I have had to install a dfrost time on several of my coolers. If you have one just set defrost for more or more often. Got to keep the beer cool. Rus
