Question about Ovens

Open Question

Hello sirs, My name is Harry Albanis and i'm from Greece. I own a AEG E6100-1 oven and on screen it says F8. The oven doesn't work and if i press any buttons i don't see any difference. Only F8. What can this be fixed? I bought it new in 2003 and i'm the first owner. Please be as simple as you can, because emglish is not my mother tongue. Thanks in advance. Harry Albanis.

SOURCE: Error Code F8

For me...I disconnected the fuse. The F8 code would come on and off again with no consistency...after about 6 months I forgot about turning off the fuse....guess what it corrected it self and has been fine for 2 years now. I had got a quote on replacement of this panel...6000 to 700 $$$$$ I don't think so!

Broken glass AEG hob

Hello,
If it is just the edge of the corner glass not a lot you can do if it is broken nearer the inside be very careful as the weight of pans can cause the break to spread.Check serial no. on base of hob body the first 2 digits are the year and 3rd digit is weeks in year. For example 92800055 that would be 2009 and 28th week equals july 2009.Any AEG unit has 2years full warranty.Check and you might be able to claim new glass.Hope this helped.
