HP-COMPAC NX 5000 LAPTOP'S LEFT HINGE IN BROKEN NEED TO GET REPAIRED (DUE TO THAT LAPTOP NOT WORKING)

You can purchase the display hinges for the notebook from any local computer parts reseller. For your convenience, I am providing you the part number of the display hinge compatible to your notebook. Please note that the display hinges, hinge covers, hinge screw caps, and display bumpers are included in the Miscellaneous Plastics Kit.

Part number: 353393-001

If you are comfortable to disassemble the notebook and replace the parts, then you can refer the service manual provided below for information to remove and replace the display hinges of the notebook.

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00713410/c00713410.pdf?jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN

Refer page no: 147 to 150

NOTE: PDF manuals require the Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing and printing.
However, if you experience any inconvenience while replacing the parts then I would recommend you to take the notebook to a nearest Computer Service Center. I hope the information provided would be helpful.

I dropped my nokia 6131. now the mini display is not working: it's upside down and not showing caller id. + the flip is not answering the all when opened

one of the problems with the flip phones is they are very easily broken at the hinges. try taking out the battery and then restarting it. there are several very tiny wires that go through the hinges, and if one of them is broken, not much you can do unless you are very good with cells. only a shop could fix, unless you have insurance on your phone. if not...... new phone.....argggg

Data cable broken in your device. It connects the main board with the screen .If you dismantle the phone it will be by the hinge(where you open the flip top).

Retrieving data, broken screen

hi
The Phone needs a new Keypad flex and most likely a left hinge pin. When the phone is open, the cable runs through the left side of the hinge. It is very common for the hinge pin to become chipped and put a small cut in the Flex Cable.
You can get the parts on ebay. search for motorola v3 keypad flex, and motorola v3 hinge, or knuckle.

thankyou.

How to replace broken hinge on ADF on Brother MFC-8820D printer

Look at back of machine and at your new hinge, note the screw hole, if you undo both of those on the back of the printer, entire doc feed will come up and out, BECAREFULL just lift A LITTLE is enough to enable hinge base to be free of sockets (many cables attached) and place doc unit slightly sideways on copy glass to enable yourself access to 3 screws that hold hinge.
