Question about Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition for PC

1 Answer

Some pictures are being blocked from various websites on my sign-in side of Windows (both in IE and AOL), while these same pictures can be seen when my husband signs in to his. It must be some kind of control that's set differently, but I have searched, and cannot find the answer. For example, when I sign into, the slide show will not work when I log into it, but if I "Switch User" and go to my husband's, the slide show works just fine. Sure hope you can guide me in the right direction.

If you are using the same ISP then you either have a virus of some kind, some net-nanny installed or you are connecting through a proxy. I don't run windows or I would give you a step-by-step but google for "change network proxy" and you should find what you are looking for.

Hi Karen,
Many a times one of the inputs fail due to various reasons. Please check the video input cable. If it does not work, please try another input ie. AV2 or HDMI1 or HDMI2. If that also does not work, the main board is defective.

Normally when this message appears a yellow bar at the top of the browser is also present. In IE you just need to click on it and chose the option that says "allow pop-ups". In Firefox there should be an "Allow" button at the right hand side of the yellow bar.

Best of luck to you mate!
