My Renault Espace Mk III radiator fans are not switching off, even if you disconect the temperature sensor. both relays are okay. Some say it's the aircon pressure switch. Anyone knows where is the...

turning of the ac switch will indicate if it is an ac problem for the fans.
some cars have the radiator fans running for up to 10 minutes after shut down . Run the fault codes to see if there is a faulty temperature sensor. how it works is this
the sensor is connected to the ecm and has power passing through. it When the sensor sensor a preset coolant temperature the power to the ECM is altered and so the ECM energizes the relays for the fans. If the fans are running continuously after shut down then the ECM still has the relays energized as it is still reading the requirement from the sensor.

Ac/heater will only work on low when you move it to med or high it shuts off

need to check switch, resistor and fan ---ur switch might have resistor built in it would need to be tested for continuity for the other speeds --if your truck [didnt specify which ] has a separate resistor it should be attached to the heater fan motor housing again resistor needs to be tested -also test ur fan for any resistance or overheating

2003 chevy cavalier cooling fan does not come on

ok heres a quick common thought of the day....ac triggers fan on ... fan comes on when it need to w/o ac on, so if it came on and shut off when you tapped on the fan, y would you think its a switch obviously the TEMP switch has nothing to do with the fans operation with the ac on... ok here try this, if the fan in your house wouldnt work when you turn it on, you tap on it it spins for a second then shuts back down, would you replace the wall socket? you verified the problem, tapping on the fan made it come on an shut back off so replace the fan ac is obviouosly commanding the fan on if you tapped it and it came on for a brief time, use ur noodle... you *******' that are misleading people who need help should be drug into the road and shot

First make sure he didn't accidentally push the fan button to "on" instead of "automatic". If he did, switch it back to automatic and it will soon go off when the compressor stops running.

If that doesn't do it, and you're certain the red and white are properly wired, then go ahead and switch the greens. But I'd turn the breaker off first.

Blower fan does not shut off and AC does not blow cold on MAX

It seems the AC switch is faulty maybe it doesn't contact the compressor wire on the MAX.
Check the switch.
