Question about Canon PowerShot G9 Digital Camera
Yes there are a lot of good shops, one place that is great for these is: www.camerasandparts.com since they not only fix the problem but they include the fix automatically for that common screw problem on the G7 and the G9 models. They have the fix for this on their site and it's under $100 which cover everything, the service for the camera, a warranty on the whole camera, and shipping back. They do excellent quality repairs and powershots are all they work on. Hoping that helps.

Chances are the camera has a short. Get it fixed by a shop that can repair digital cameras. That's the best option for this.
