Question about Televison & Video
Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.
In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary. ///

Unless you know how to solder and where to solder you need to take your set to a repair shop ,however if you do know both of these things to do solder around Flyback Transfomer pins.
ThankYou for using FixYa. Have a nive day.

SOURCE: TV loses all power
I had same problem. Finally figured out the power supply was the problem. I ordered a generic replacement and it hasn't shut off again for over a year. The only thing I have notice is there are noise lines in the lower channels (1-6). This may be beause the Toshiba power supply may have a noise filter in the power supply. But the generic was $30 compared to $80 Toshiba

The only solution at this point would be to get the power supply repair since new boards are not longer being manufactured. In about 95% of the time if the LCD doesn't power up or turns OFF by itself or need to be unplug for some time to make work again; those are the symptoms of a dying or defective power supply.
I service these power supplies, for more info write to firstname.lastname@example.org
