This is musually caused by the condenser fan not running or the condenser coils are clogged up. This is easy to check and replace. Here is a link that should help http://appliancehelponline.com/refercondenserfan.html

Without the model number I'm not sure how to answer your question. Does your model have fans that blow warm air on the outside bottom or a front kick plate? What is your model number? Kenmore has model numbers like this example=> 123.3214567 If the fan has a restriction that causes a lack of airflow it can cause the hot Freon liquid that normally flows around the Yoder Loop inside edges of the freezer door to prevent frost buildup to become very hot because the condenser fan is defective or coils are dirty with dust restricting airflow. If the outside is hot you may have a defective condenser fan motor. That will cause the freezer to ger hot. I am here should you want my assistance....Sea Breeze

Water leaking on inside - top shelves

The drain for the freezer is clogged. Unplug the frige and let it defrost. Pull the cover from the bottom front and note the drain pan. water should start draining into pan as the freezer defrosts. If Not the drain may be blocked. To access the drain remove icemaker then rear panel of freezer carefully, unplugging fan and ground wire. Look for drain in the middle under the coils. Look on outside back for the drain hose, this will help you locate the drain. Clear the drain of ice using hot water. You will hear it drain down the drain hose to the pan below.

Water in Refrigerators

The drain tube is blocked, the easy way to fix this problem is lay on the couch. Unplug the unit to let the tube thaw.
Many, top freezers have this problem But, you have to make sure the
Refrigerator is unplug long enuff to melt the ice. The food must be removed. I left my unit off for 12 hours.
I'm sure there's a professional way to do this, but, like the couch.
Idea better. I've herd many way's to fix this problem some cost $$
and, still don't fix the problem

Probably a clogged drain line in the freezer. Unplug it for 2 days and leave it open. Reset controls to 3 and C or factory settings clean the coils on the bottom outside with a vacuum and a brush and restart the fridge.

Water in fridge

First, empty freezer and fridge. Unplug and leave door open for at least 3-4 hours. Blow out drain lines with compressed air. It is more likely that the drain line is clogged than frozen; but a clogged drain line will freeze-up quickly.

Outside freezer is hot to the touch

Its normal, the heat is coming from the condenser which is integrated within the freezer cabinet and is completely out of sight.
