Is this a wireless device or modem? You may need to get an updated driver from the Zyxel site or update the software.

There are quite a number of issues posted on the internet about this product, so it does point to a problem with the driver..

    Couple of possibilities..

    (1) have you un-installed the old driver, then re-installed? Sometimes un-install software is included in the utility software or you can try through windows add/remove programs in control panel.

    (2) Is it possible to remove the device from the pc it's currently

installed in & move it to another pc?

Keep in mind, that with almost all hardware devices, especially USB connected hardware, it's almost always the rule to install the software first, before installing the hardware. Once windows has had a shot at trying to install a driver, it's very difficult to install the correct driver from the vendor. So, software install first, then install the hardware.
