Drive not being Unlocked.

Hello,
I installed Easy Lock Drive 4.0 n locked my G drive.n when I tried to unlock the drive,it displays unlock succesed but still my drive is not being accesed.what should I do?

Just uninstall the software from control panel add/remove programs..if still problem continues try to delete its entry from reigistry...but if you are unfamiliar with registry just go to
all programs > accessories > system tools > select system restore and when it opens click next now select the previous date on which you have installed your software ..for ex, if you have installed your software on 5 april select the date like 4 april or any previous date.. it will definitely solve your problem.

    Update to obtain the latest service pack for Windows XP

    Possible causes of this error may include the following:• Hard disk damage :
    • General hardware configuration problems with the BIOS, the memory, the hard disk, or with other devices
    • Incompatible device driver
    • Incompatible software
    RESOLUTION:
    Method 1: Use the Windows Error Reporting toolMethod 2: Method 2: Remove any hardware or any software drivers that you recently added.

    Start the System Restore tool at a command prompt

    Restart your computer, and then press F8 during the initial startup to start your computer in Safe Mode with a command prompt.

    Log on to your computer with an administrator account or with an account that has administrator credentials.

    Type the following command at a command prompt, and then press ENTER:
    %systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

    Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to restore your computer to an earlier state.



    Unplug any new external hardware devices, and then try System Restore. Start System Restore as appropriate for your situation.

    Method 3: Run Windows Update, and perform a Microsoft OneCare full service scan

Press green + red + multimedia button and turn the phone on at the same time. Wait until the "NOKIA" logo appears. This will wipe your phone memory.
If that doesn't work try this.

Soft reset/reformat - Type *#7370# and the phone's lock code (Nokia default lock code is 12345). Warning!Soft reset wipes the C drive/phone memory!


Hard reset - Switch the phone off. Press and hold three keys together, the green key, the * key and the number '3'. While you are holding these keys, switch the phone on. Don't release these three keys before you see the NOKIA logo.
Warning! Hard reset wipes the C (phone memory) drive.

The OSD can be enabled or disabled by pressing and holding the Menu button on the front panel for 10 seconds. If the OSD is locked, the warning message OSD Lock displays for ten seconds.

* If the OSD is locked, press and hold the Menu button for 10 seconds to unlock the OSD.

Region code lock out


You can only change this code 5 times before it locks out the CD ROM drive. If it's locked out, you will need a new CD ROM drive. Your best bet is to get two external CD ROM drives and set one to region 1 and the other to region 4. This way you don't have to keep buying CD ROM drives. :)

I try to re-allocate some space to increase the size of my c-drive, using Partition Magic. During re-booting I get the message: error 75 Can't lock c drive (or something similar)


this is because the harddrive is locked and one cant edit edit em..anyway try out this..http://www.computerhope.com/lockhlp.htm..actually i cured this problem by formatting the drive..!!

Computer locks up when I install NERO 7 essentials. I had a 1 yr. old version when I built the computer and it worked great. I bought a new lite-on burner and received this new software. Installed it...


well ok the reason it locks up is this see you hade nero on you computer once before although you removed it from add remove programs you still dint remome all of it see heres what to do dont install nero 7 yet go to c drive and look for the comon folder open it and you see everything that you removed you can clear this folder it want hurt the pc and if windows want remove some files in it well there is a wat tiy do that you have to go past windows if you can remove it fine if you cant download revo uninstaller aand ues the auto run part you see all the programs the auto run in it get rid of the old nero in it and as mug of the programd that you are not using any more then resart you computer check how much hard drive free space tioy have if the drive is full it will lock up to so after you restart you have to use a registry cleaner for the things you removed use comodo registry clearner you have to down load it from the comodo site no after you done all this and removed all the orphened files restart you computer it will say finalize click yes and windows will continue loading and thin try to load nero 7 again it shoul load and the computer shouyld not lock up
