Question about Friedrich QuietMaster KM18L30 Wall/Window Air Conditioner
Hi, it sounds as though the blower/condenser fan motor has maybe hit something, the blades on the shaft if its not blowing any air. You can go outdoors to see if the condenser fan motor blade or cage is turning, as this is a dual shaft motor. Sometimes if the bearings wear, they will be out of balance and hit another part in the unit and bind up. I would check this for sure. If you have something slim but hard you can stick inside to see if the motor turns at all this would tell you that the motor is either bad or the blades have hit something and locked it up. Do this and get back to me. You can use my user name below. It may be a faulty blower motor. Please rate me and I know you will be kind. I will keep all of your information filed, so I will remember this unit and what happened. Please let me know.
