Yes, you can find an installer most of the manufacturer has a download site for their devices. You just need to know who is the manufacturer of the card and its model no. and version and down load it from your manufacturer's website.

I Lost my cd with drivers and now i cant find what tupe is my lan card drive can u help me?

Hi,

All windows OS are now compatiable to all major LAN cards, all you would need to do is to connect the Lan card. In case you still feel that you need drivers, you can visit the website of the computer manufacturer ( in case of branded Machines like dell, sony, hp, Gateway, toshiba etc). In all other cases you may visit the website of the Lan card manufacturer.

I hope this would help

Hi there,

If you noticed that the network connection is disabled you will have to:

1. change the network adapter (LAN CARD) Or may be its a driver problem, install again

2. Verify the LAN cables! if they are faulty, please replace them

Thanks & Regards

My dell lan card is not working,i cannot connect to internet.

Either the LAN card is faulty or the LAN driver is not installed and/or not configured properly or the LAN cable is faulty.
Check Device Manager to see if the LAN driver is installed, working and enabled. If not then re-install the LAN card driver.
If the LAN driver won't install or detect the LAN card then it maybe faulty and needs to be replaced.
Try a different LAN cable.
Is all the LEDs on in the modem?
Try rebooting the modem (power it off for 30 secs and power it up again).

Ethernet not work

Check in the Device manager to see if all the devices are enable and working.
The one with a yellow ? against that device requires a driver installation.
Is the LAN device OK?
How do you intend to setup your LAN, is it for Internet access or a home network?
I need more information on your problem, together with error messages.

Lancard

Hi,
I am not clear whether your card is lost or lancard is not getting detected by computer

>>If it is lost then you can connect your computer by USB Cable by installing the drivers for the USB if the USB is not getting detected.

>>If your computer is not able to detect the Lan Card.

1)Check the computer in safe mode with networking by pressing the F8 or any Function key whether the card is showing in Device manager or not

>> Steps for Device manager:
Click start> Click run> Type devmgmt.msc> check under network adapters or in other devices

2) Check whether the Card is properly plugged in the Mother Board of the computer

3) If it is then check the Lan Card by plugging it into another slot
