When i start my pc a message displays "connection error check signal connection " please sort out my problem THANK YOU!!

First, I'm not a Levono tech. (I do own a ideapad110S)
* Check your warranty. Contact Lenovo; https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/ordersupport/
*** following is for information only.***
* WiFi connections can be tricky if not set up properly by following the initial set up as stated. (don't try short cuts as they may be out dated.)
* Many newer computers and laptops are designed as a turn on and run. It's "Plug n' Play" taking a step further. No thinking needed. Just turn it on. (ironic as you have to think to use it as a tool.)
* First, check if your router or WiFi device is powered up and other devices hook up to it as normal. (Meaning that it's working okay.)
* Not to many people use "Hard wired networks" so I will bypass this step. (if you are using a wired network then contact the I.T. manager.)
* During the initial computer set up the computer will search for the WiFi signal which you will click on to choose. It will ask you for a password (if locked). Otherwise it will just connect continue with the set up.
* You must have the password to connect to a locked WiFi system. If you just got a new WiFi device and did not do anything except turn it on then you will find the "Default" password on the back ID label or in the instructions pamphlet that came with it. Check the box or package. Call the contact number on the device if you have problems connecting. They will help you perform a "Hard" reset that will reset the device to accept a new password.
* Some WiFi devices have a "sync" button to give access to a device without going through some of these steps. (or at least "search" for your laptop, phone, computer, etc.)
* Getting back to your computer. Follow the connection set up as mention.
* connection error (though you did connect and gave password but still error.) Then there still may be problems with the WiFi or "Router in this case. Remove power cord from Router. Count to ten and plug it back in. Turn it on or make sure the lights come back on. Let it cycle through the start up and check your computer again in 5 mins. (I will leave a link below on why you need to do this. I do it once a day. See below.)
* Still not connecting? Contact Lenovo support.
* Also check if you need more memory (Internal RAM)as there may not be enough to load up the operating system to run.

PS: FBI posted a warning out that hackers have found a way into home wifi routers.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQ9xcUXVvmY
"If your wifi slows down then you may have been hacked. Perform a router reset (or unplug power for 10 seconds) to kick the hack program off router."
* Note: you may have to do this once or twice a week if they are active in your area.
* I perform a power reset every week as our wifi slows to a crawl and stops.

Where do I put the activation code on computer? trying to connect my apple TV

Hi Penny
Not exactly sure of your requirement.
An Activation Code usually refers to enabling a paid for service.
Like a game or streaming service like spotify etc

AppleTV is plugged into your TV via an HDMI Cable.
It then accesses your local in home WiFi....
To connect to the internet and your Apple Account.
You will need your WiFi Modem password initially to connect into your home network.
Then set up the AppleTV to connect to your Apple Account with your Apple ID (Username & Password)
Use the free Apple "Remote" App on your iPhone to make it easier to enter text.
Also, this might be good for entering activation codes for joining any App services shown on Apple TV main menu.

Cheers

My iPad is asking for password for NetGear 95 I don't know it

Is the Netgear 95 your wifi router? If it is go to settings/wifi click in the Netgear 95 then click the little "i" on the right for more options. If you have an option to "forget this" click it. Do a hard reboot of your iPad (holding down home and lock button) till it restarts. Once it powers up go back to setting/wifi and try again to connect. That's how I got it to work on my iPhone and iPad when encountering the issue.

If that doesn't work restart your router. Last resort is to change the password but again I've never had to do that. The steps above usually did the trick.

  1. Choose a laptop or WiFi device that is currently connected to your network. If none of your devices are connected, use an Ethernet cable and connect a computer or laptop directly to your wireless gateway.
  2. Open a web browser and go to the Admin Tool (http://10.0.0.1) - this is the wireless gateway's administration site. The default settings are:
    • Username: admin
    • Password: password (case-sensitive)
      how6361image002.png
    • Note: If you changed your Admin Tool password previously, you will need to use your new login information. If you don't remember your Admin Tool password, you will need to factory reset your wireless gateway. Instructions on how to do this can be found by reviewing the wireless gateway user guides at Wireless Gateway Guides.
  3. On the left navigation menu, select Gateway, then Connection and then Wi-Fi.
    how6361image003.png
  4. Under Private Wi-Fi Network, you'll see the Name (SSID) of your WiFi network. (You may want to write down this information.)
    • Wireless Gateway 1 customers, click EDIT at the right.
    • Wireless Gateway 2 customers, click EDIT for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands to view the settings for each. ?
      how6361image004.png
  5. Check the box next to Show Network Password. The Network Password (Network Key) will be displayed above. (You may want to write down this information.)
    how6361image005.png
    • On this page, you can also edit your wireless network information, including changing your Network Name (SSID) or Password (Network Key). If you make any changes, remember to click SAVE SETTINGS.
  6. Now that you have your Network Name (SSID) and Password (Network Key), you can connect your WiFi devices to your network.
  7. If you have changed any information, use the new information to reconnect all your WiFi devices to your network.

Connect to wifi on blackberry and ps3

It is just be a matter of synching the blue tooth system of the blackberry to that of the PS3. Assuming the PS3 is not currently connected to the web or connected to a modem, you should be able to search for the PS3 by using the Bluetooth search tool in the Blackberry setup menus. Then for headsets, set those up through the PS3 by turning on the head sets, and then using the Blue tooth set up utility of the PS3 to search for the head sets.

Otherwise If you do not have Wifi active currently and don't have good cellular coverage in your area, you can use a Wifi Bridge Dongle (connector cable) like this one, there are others available too.
http://www.espow.com/wholesale-wifi-bridge-dongle-wireless-for-dreambox-xbox-ps3.html
to connect the PS3 to your home computer and use it as the hub assuming you ahve it connected to DSL or broadband. headsets would set up the same way.

How do I change the name of my home wifi current name is netgear and ibox will not work with this name

For Netgear routers, open an Internet browser window on a computer connected to the Netgear router. Go to www.routerlogin.net and log in with your username and password. If you never set a username and password, then the username should be 'admin' and leave the password box blank. Once logged in click 'Wireless Settings' on the blue bar on the left side of the page. Once on the Wireless Settings page, look for the Wireless Network section, click in the box next to Name (SSID) and type in your desired network name. Click apply at the bottom of the page, and you're done.

Brother try to geust my password and phone is locked and need an google acount have on with the phone but wont accept it help?

Try resetting your google account password by going to https://www.google.com/accounts/recovery

Then after you have reset your password on a computer, try the password on your phone.

If that doesn't work try this:

Have someone call your phone.  Answer.  Leave the call connected. Push the "back" key over and over (NOT the home key) while leaving the call connected.  Keep the keyboard retracted.

Go to the home screen, go to settings, google account, add another google account, sign in to that--- (must have wifi connected, as you're trying to communicate with the google servers while you're on a phone call-- it will prompt you to turn on wifi if you forget)--  then end the call, and go back to the lock screen.  This time, I use the google account that u just added.

You need to select the 'Settings' button on the home screen, then make sure that the 'Ask to Join Networks' option is turned on. Choose your network, and then enter in your password. I've had the same problem before, and it turned out that my phone wouldn't connect without setting the computer to require a password. If this doesn't solve your problem, please let us know.
