Sometimes you have to un-install an older version of a program via the windows installer to fix the problem..
The two programs.. old & new co-exist for some things, but clash with others.. un-install both (if possible) via windows installer (control panel - add/remove programs) then re-install the new version.

I want to know what ADOBE Flash Player I should download for my emachine so i can play games on Facebook

You can download Flash Player from Adobe here. Usually it's best just to download and install the latest version (10.3 now) since it will have all the latest features, enhancements, security fixes, etc. Click the link at the top of the page that says "Get the latest version" to get the installer program. Run the program and installation is automatic.

These days every programs have started explaining things by showing you a video clips which requires downloading through a software called adobe flash player. The process of downloading is quite time...

Adobe Flash Player is an add-on on browsers like Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. it plays a vital part in playing video clips as it is interpreting the video file to play on the browser. Also you can update to the latest version so that you will be able to watch video clips automatically. One thing that might be the cause of the slow download is your internet connection. You can ask assistance from your Internet Service Provider to check what is the speed of your Internet. You can get the latest Adobe Flash Player from Adobe.com and by clicking on the link on the right part of the page to download the latest version of Flash Player.

Adobe Flashplayer does not automatically uninstall the old version, when you install the new version.

You have to uninstall the old version before you can install the new one.

To do this you use the Adobe Flashplayer Uninstaller,

If you have Windows on your computer use the top file -

After you have finished uninstalling the old version, then install the new one,
