You can try any of the following:

  • Force-eject. If the CD player in your car having a “force-eject” hole, things can be very simple. Get a pin or a small nail, poke into the force-eject hole and push it all the way in until the CD is forced out.
  • Disconnect the CD player for about 10 minutes. Find out the fuse that control the CD player, unplug or pull out the fuse without turn on the ignition of the car. Leave it for roughly 10 minutes. If you are not familiar with the fuse box controller, you can simply unplug the negative battery cable, same method to leave it for 10 minutes and connect it back. This is not a 100% way but overall it works well for most of the CD player in car
  • Eject multiple disks CD player. This is for certain CD player that able to place multiple CDs. For some brands, the changer will cycle and eject any stuck CD by pressing the eject button and load button at the same time.
Let me know how this works for you,

Al

Are the 2 discs stuck in there? If so, will have to remove by disassembling the unit and trying to extract. Perhaps, if the unit says that it's not user serviceable, then a service center for Blaupunkt can do the job for you.

CD or CDs may be damaged, though.

I'd try to contact blaupunkt directly regarding service at the following link:

I think that one could take the faceplate off to see if the discs are more exposed that way.

However, it's a 5 disc cd-changer, so that means that the discs are deeper in there when playing or loaded.

That's why it may have to be disassembled to get at the 2 discs that got stuck in there, to minimize possible damage to the discs or the deck.

Mercedes cd changer stuck

There may be a CD that did not completely return to its slot in the magazine, for example if power was turned off before the return was completed. Don't know how to fix it. You might power up and try a load-unload cycle to get back to normal.

Entered code says wait 1 hour

When you add an IDC-A09 changer to a pre-2004 car, you should not need to enter any code, it should just plug and play. If you have added an IDC-A09 changer to a post 2004 car the you have probably got the wrong changer. Post 2004 cars *usually* need the IDC-A04 changer, which looks identical.

The IDC-A04 uses CAN-bus while the IDC-A09 uses VAN-bus wiring. The two are not interchangable.
