Question about Casio FX-300MS Calculator

# Fractional powers I have a casio fx-300ms. How do I calculate fractional powers ? ie 4 to the power 0.5 =2. what is 4 to the power e or to the power 7.6 etc

Posted by on

Use the "carrot" button, ^. Type in 4^.5 and you get 2. If you are going to use fractions, use the division bar and parenthesis and not the fraction key. Example 4^(1/2) = 2
