Question about Dell OptiPlex GX270 PC Desktop
I recently installed a HP w2007 monitor on a dell optiplex gx270 and now the computer crashes and the monitor loses video. Sometimes holding the power button to do a hard shutoff then rebooting it fixes the problem, other times I have to reset the BIOS by removing the internal battery. It sometimes works for a few ours other times a few seconds. I am baffeled, i have replaced the power supply, the processor, the video card, well i feel like i have almost replced the whole darn thing short of a mother board and shell. Any solutions or suggestions would be aprreciated.
No, i was running windows xp professional edition. I finally got so fed up I went and bought a new computer. i would still like to have any suggestions about how to fix it since i have three of the darn things and would like to find a use other than paper weight for them.
