If you own indoor pets you will want to change the return air filters monthly like religously. You may also need to have the A-Coil other wise none as the evaporator coil cleaned manually. It is located inside the air handling unit inside the house somewhere. It could be restricting the air flow across the coil with daner and dust and/or deris. Sometimes it can be difficult to clean but with care and lots of elbow grease it can usually be done. Be careful not to bend the fins! Once this is completed and the unit still freezes up! Then you can be sure it is low on refrigerant 90% of the time! Cleaning the A-Coils is something you should do or have done anually!

Things that can cause your unit to freeze are, undersized ductwork, restricted filters, fan death (intermittent due to over heating or otherwise), low charge or in correct metering device or restriction.

Leaking under neath heating unit but it's not the hose but a little white knob underneath unit

ac drain . There could be a blockage in the AC drain pipe that runs under the car. This can usually be unblocked with compressed air they jack up vehicle takes 30 seconds to fix with vehicle hoist.
When it blocks up the AC unit builds up with water and leaks clear water inside the car. if it was green water it would be the heater core leaking coolant.

Why is water leaking from a RuuD furnace

Water can leak from any furnace for a couple of different reasons.
If it is in AC mode, the AC evaporator could be freezing due to lack of refrigerant or airflow (check your furnace filter). Or the AC drain could be clogged normally a hose or PVC pipe coming from the evaporator.
If it is in heating mode could be high efficiency furnace not draining properly or leaking humidifier.

Why does my split ac unit leak inside the house?

This happens when the drain pipe is too high, or kinked. The pipe must be lower then the drain pan in order for the water to drain. This is a common problem.

I have doubble checked everything but I have water leaking out of the bottom of my ac unit. The drain plug is tight and I have a hose hooked up to the top drain for continus run.

Usually that is a sign that the unit is freezing up...then the ice melts and runs all over...not into the drain...

Check the pipes and if there is frost on the larger one then that is your problem and the unit needs to be checked for a leak and recharged...

Water pipe feeding this froze, pipe was repaired, unit filled with water, no leaks won't agitate something smells hot or burnt, vibration low noise comes from unit, won't pump wter from tub

remove the water pump. it may be broken by water freezing iside. also make sure you dont use the washer if ambient temp in room is below freezing. freezing will damage water valves, pumps and freeze grease inside the gearcase.

Leaking antifreeze midengine are there freeze plugs and where are they??????

yes their are core plugs and they are everywhere ,in the cylinder head as well as the cylinder block and to find the leak their is no alternative but to lift the bonnet and have a good look as if one is leaking then more might need changing ,also it could be a hose pipe somewhere or a metal water transfer pipe as well .

Rv ac unit leaks, even when fan only

Where the pipes enter the building, look carefully there for a bad seal. Use a good quality sealant and block the leak properly. If there is no rain, and the unit is leaking still with the fan on only, then you have an issue with the drain pipe angle or a kinked pipe or a blockage. Suggest you have it seen to by a aircon. technician as that repair is really not easy.(AC will possibly have to come out to rectify problem).

Daikin air conditioner leakin water at a fast rate

You should have access to the condensate drain from the outside. You can use compressed air to unclog the unit. If you can, try accessing the drain from the source outward but be careful, you can blow debris everywhere. Make sure you have something to catch it so it doesn't spray everywhere. If you don't have access to compressed air, you can use a small plumbing snake to work you way up the pipe. Hope this answers your question.

GE side by side leaks water onto floor, no ice

There is a pipe that runs up the back of the appliance and feeds the ice maker , if this freezes inside then it canpush the fitting off the back of the appliance and cause water to go everywhere. Usual problem is a leaky watervalve causeing water to drip into the pipe which freezes and builds up until it is totally blocked.
