Not on my dish. It usually hangs around 50%. Do you have a neighbor's tree waving in the way? Take a look and let me know what you find....

2001 Ultra Classic Battery went bad had to jump it quit charging. have a new battery now only shows 10-12 volts on the meter tried a different regulator with same results. tried to check stater with...

usually it is either the regulator or stator that dies
firstly check stator...(alternator)...set multi mtr at 500ac volts
connect probes (red/blk) to both wires from stator..output voltage should read between 100 acv mid revs to 150 acv mid revs
output to battery should be 13.5v -14.75v dc...if not then regulator is RS ...I used to fit Honda regulators 30amp type with 2 red and 2 green wires ..because it is a 3 phase regulator just disconnect one yellow wire
harley regulators are of poor quality...they have no on off switch like the japanese ones ..in other words when you turn off your ignition the harley regulator is still on
hope this helps

My gz 125 starts sometimes the carb has been cleaned out but its got a poor spark why please help

The carb has nothing to do with your spark, you need to check the spark plug, spark plug wire ( for sparks jumping to ground ) and coil/magneto.

Have new E370VL hooked up to Dish Network via coax. The picture jumps/blips? Connections are tight. Help.

This can happen when there is radio interference near the coaxial cables. Sometimes the interference is behind walls. The solution is to try a different combination of modulation and channel than what the DISH receiver is current set.

The DISH menu screen for this setting is Menu-6-1-5. With dual-tuner receivers, typically "TV 1 Out" is the TV that is connected in the same room as the receiver is located. "TV 2 Out" is the tuner that is fed to the remote TV via backfed coaxial signal.

All that needs to be done is to change the channel and mode going to the effected TV to something different. If your channel/mode is currently set to Air/60, try changing it to Cable/73. When you change the mode/channel in the DISH receiver, you need to set the remote TV to the same mode and channel.

Keep in mind that with some TV companies like VIZIO, they call their "Air" mode "Antenna". With VIZIO's the TV must be set on TV input and then go into the Menu to the Settings, Tuner Settings. Change mode type to match what you are trying on the DISH receiver, exit the VIZIO menu and manually enter the channel number.

Eventually with trial and error, you will find a mode/channel combination that isn't effected by your particular environmental interference.

Decoder keep scanning

well, firstly. u have a sat finder!! great!! now lets see if i can teach u how to use it, when you hook it up there will always be some sort of signal, (other electronic waves in the air) the best way to check is to put ur hand in front of the LNB (the square box in front of the dish) if he signal goes down, the signal was fine to begin with, if it goes up, the dish is out, if nothing happens... dead LNB, which in my experiance, the most likely cause, dont for get to reset your decoder once you have solved the problem.. good luck

Changed from single to twin LNB, no signal

HELLO

Here is a suggestion! Try SKEWING the LNB around a few degrees. Looking at the front of the dish, turn your LNB to the LEFT slightly (that is anti-clockwise).

Sometimes it's the little things that matter most where installation is concerned. It is also possible that due to the weight of the new LNB, the alignment may be out.

I have Dish sattelite and it won't work with memorex under cabinet. They said I need a cable box in between the dish receiver and the tv. Why is this?

You need a receiver for each TV you want to receive the reception on. Your dish receives the broadcast signal from the network and your receiver decodes and recodes the signal to view on your TV. The companies have created their own proprietary equipment to accomplish this to keep anyone and everyone from simply installing their own dish and receiving all of their broadcast channels for FREE. In the olden days when satellite and cable TV was new, that is exactly what people did. Remember those gigantic dishes some people installed in their yards? They would intercept the signals coming from the satellites and hook up directly to their TVs. The companies got smart and started to scramble the signals going up to the satellites to make these home owner dishes obsolete. Because the signals are scrambled, you now need a receiver to un-scramble the signal. I hope this helps and good luck. Please remember to vote d368a18.jpg if you found this helpful. Thanks.
