The l p ; keys stick (do not advance) on my wheelwriter II. How can I fix that?

hold the code key and press either the x or l key depending onthe age the term lahg will be on it in green, this will turn off the language mode.

Selectric II- changed the ribbon, new ribbon won't advance


The ribbon is probably not threaded to the lift of the white slacker finger just left of where it comes out of the cassette.

no easy fix on this one. the keyboard is going bad and will have to be replaced. take it to a repairman

There is a plastic cap on the end of the print solenoid plunger whichis probably broken. They are available fron us for 15.00 including postage but can be a little tricky to install

Check the connectors from the keyboard to be sure they are plugged in fully, check to see if you are in language mode (light on rt. side of keyboard) CODE "L" ,if these are OK then you probably need a keyboard.

change your wheel with word`s and everythin is ok,possibly mark @ is broken on typewrither wheel
