Error message Printhead Missing or not installed correctly


The printhead is the device in which the ink cartridges sit. It may be mis-installed.
Take out the ink cartridges (carefully, you can get ink on yourself). Now using the gray latch on the right side of the carriage, remove and re-install the printhead. Jiggle it a little before lowering the latch to seat it.

Now, re-install the ink cartridges.

Black ink will not print - have cleaned printhead, color will print


Ok since you alreday did the correct troubleshooting still missing black, You need to call kodak for printhead replacement toll free 1 800 421 6699, Ext 02. I think printhead is free of charge

Flashing light "E" at installation.


That means that no Printhead is installed,

Remove your inks and printhead
restart the printer
reinstall the Printhead and ink cartridges

If you still see letter "E"
call Kodak Assistance for a free Printhead

I have a kadak esp3 aioprinter.It shut off on me when I was printing. At first it wouldn't come back on, so I unplugged it and it came on with an error. It says the printhead is missing or not installed...


may be the Printhead is not installed correctly. make sure that it clicks in to place when you reseat it. go to www.kodak.com/go/printheadsupport for demo on how to install it correctly.If this does not solve the issue, call kodak @ 1800 421 6699 and they will replace the printhead for you free of cost

ESP 7 printer that had a paper miss feed & print head is missing


go to www.kodak.com/go/printheadsupport and click on 3rd link on how to replace a printhead correctly. take it out and then again put printhead back in to the carriage and press the bulls eye backward u will hear a snap sound confirming thet it has been placed correctly.install ink cartridge .your issue will be resolved. contact kodak @ 1800 421 6699 for further assistance

Its saying paper jam when iv only just installed it and i have not evan put any paer in yet. help me please this is a kodak esp.3


Hello,

It means it has "paper jam"error message. This is a common issue w/ the ESP printers of Kodak especially if its brand new.


Try the steps below.


1.Open the printer access door.
2.Remove the black and color ink cartridges.
3.Reseat the printhead.

a. Lift the printhead release latch
b. Reseat the printhead, pushing firmly on the white label on the printhead (if provided) or the center of the printhead, until it clicks into place.

NOTE: You may also visit www.kodak.com/go/printheadsupport for demonstration on reintalling the printhead

4. Close the access door.
5. wait for the printer to initialize.

If issue persists, the printer itself needs to be replaced. Call 1.800.421.6699

switch off the printer again switch it on after 1 minute.. open the front access door , remove the ink cartridges and remove the printhead. reseat printhead properly until u hear a click sound. then again insert ink cartridges and wait for 2 minutes. go 2 menu and press caliberate printer.it will print a caliberation sheet. and now try to print ur doucment
