Phone switching itsself off all the time

I'm going to ask you a few question, there is no need for you to answer, but for you to troubleshoot on the phone.
1. Does the battery show fully charge when done charging or does it show some percentage?
2. Are you using a GS2 from T-Mobile or AT&T?
3. Does the phone too hot even when not in use?
4. Does the phone lag when you use it?
Once done with that, try the following, place your phone upward on a flat surface, or you can hold it in your hand with the display facing you. Run your finger ever so gently over the power key from top to bottom. If ny any chance the phone turn it self off, by sliding your finger and not pressing on it, then you have a faulty power key.
Check your phone and TS with these question, then get back to me with model, ROM,

Why your sony phones get problem of turn on and turn off it self ?

Sony Ericsson phones always get this problem like some times phone screen blinks, switch off and on itself. it happens when your phone get any liquid damage, and when you could not complete the update process of your phone. Firstly if your phone get liquid damage so quickly switch it off and take out the battery try to wipe liquid.. ( please do not use hot dryer) hot dryer always gives some short circuit on mother board. If you do updating of your phone and you could not complete updating then it get this problem like not turning on and screen blinks.for solving this problem you need Sony Ericsson software tool box and two software files If you have that tool. then connect with PC and LAPTOP and install it. when is fully installed it shows icon on desktop double click on that and it gives you window. On window see left hand side top some option like S.E ,A-1 ,A-2 .firstly click on first option and select model if you couldnt find then second and third option.mostly Sony Ericsson series K means K800, K850 in first option and W series and C series like C 902 ,C905 in A1 select model and see left bottom of the window select mode USB ( do not select COM or UFS ) then right hand side top last option IDENTIFY click on that.your phone should be switch off with fully charged battery then do what ever window said like if you click on IDENTIFY so it says connect your USB while pressing C or some times it says connect your USB while hold 2+5. when it shows phone detected then disconnect USB FROM THE PHONE. take out battery and put it back. see what ever information it given you like then model number and in RED word you will see CID. like CID 49 .CID 51 AND 52 AND 53. and in information you will get the software file shows like RE100EDre1d001w1d1001 just see which is the software file your phone has then connect your internet and GO SUPPORT YOU CAN FIND THIS OPTION IN MIDDLE BOTTOM . it goes directly Online on this software tolls side and select sony ericsson then select model and select CID THEN YOU WILL see some files firstly check your phone file and find same number file in GENERIC then down load it and save in desk top.and fine same file in European file ( make sure second FILE is your LANGUAGE FILE which gives you the phone language) down load it and save same place when down load complete then go to software window and see under the secet model option you will find small window and that right hand side see some option like add file, remove file and clear .Click on add files it gives you your pc or laptop window go to Desk top and add that file which are you down loaded from On line. make sure GENERIC FILE ALWAYS ADD FIRST THEN SECOND FILE. when you added file. Go to setting this option you can see on top in software window select on two option which first one 1- singed mode ( signed mode always first option ) you need to tick only.2- complete phone after flash / customise phone after flash ( this option could be 4 or 5 ) then go back to via clicking on model option then right hand side where you did IDENTIFY second option flash click on that. then do what ever it says like connect usb to your phone while pressing C button or while PRESSING 2+5. then wait for complete this process.it takes 7 to 12 minutes time then when it show you phone detected. disconnect the phone and take out the battery and put back turn on your phone and wait. Your phone will show wait sign on screen then your phone will be OK
USE YOUR SONY ERICSSON PHONE HAPPILY

Thanks

If the switch isworking then the only possible fact is that the heating element has failed and it might be too costly for a change.

Remove the battery and reboot the device to attempt to resolve specific issues (phone not taking inputs)
Perform a factory reset by going to the phone settings if issues continue. make sure to back up personal information before hand.
as a last resortTake the device into your carriers store and have a service representative look at it, your device may be defective or damaged.

Ive installed it and it still doesnt work

Did you take out the same set up as the switch /outlet you have now? Does the light work? Or did it work before you put the switch in? Do you have the black wire, line, to the brass screw on the receptacle? The white wire on the silver screw? The switch should have 2 black wires attached to it, doesn't matter which side. One should be hot. Get out the tester and check that, you should have 2 hot/ black wires in there, one feeds the switch, one feeds the receptacle, the white wire is neutral and the other colored wire, black wire should be dead, going to the light, it will be hot when the switch is thrown. Check it out, hope this helps.

We can't get the Leviton 5225 combination switch and receptacle to work independently of each other., We broke off the metal tab between the 2 black screws, not we think that was wrong. I think we need...

You have switch combo.
Screws are color-coded.
Dark screws, brass screw, silver screw.

Break-away fin is located between dark screws.
1) Connect the dark screws again using jumper wire

2) Electricians don't guess, they test
Separate wires for testing. Do not untwist any wires that are twisted together. Note which wires were connected on same screw on previous device.
Tape tester leads to wood sticks to keep hands away from power
Turn power ON
Test each wire to bare ground wire.
Tester lights up on Hot wire. Hot connects to dark screw.

Hot is identified.
Test Hot to all other wires, except bare ground.
Tester lights up on Neutral. Neutral connects to silver screw.

Final wire goes to Load (light, fan, motor). This wire connects to brass screw.

1) In this situation we need to test the wires.
Electricians don't guess, they test, and a diagram would be guessing which wire color does what.

2) FYI: non-GFCI receptacle located in bathroom is not code, and device will have to be replaced when property is sold. The reason for GFCI is the likelihood of you holding defective electrical gizmo from China in one hand while putting other hand in running water. Or electrical gizmo falling into bathtub occupied by wife with large life insurance policy.
If you have kids using that bathroom, I want you to avoid using non-GFCI device.

3) Your new device has color-coded screws: Dark, brass, and silver.
These colors tell electrician how to wire the device.

4) Let's test to see which wire connects to which screw:
Separate wires.
Use ordinary 2-wire tester from hardware store.
Tape tester leads to wood sticks so hands are away from power.
Turn power ON.
Test each wire to bare ground wire.
Tester lights up on Hot wire. Hot wire connects to dark-colored screw on device.
Hot wire is identified.
Test Hot wire to all other wires in box, except bare ground wire.
Tester lights up on Neutral wire. Neutral wire connects to silver screw, and will complete circuit to receptacle.
If box does not have a Neutral wire, the circuit to receptacle can be completed using ground wire on silver screw, but I am not recommending that.
Last wire goes to Load (light, fan, motor). Load wire connects to brass screw, and will complete circuit to Load.

Red light won't go out

If the indicator light you are referring to is the 'surface hot' light then the element has failed. Each element contains a sensor to detect when the element is hot, these sensors fail. The element will have to be replaced. If there is only one light to indicate hot surface, you will have to determine which element has failed.

If the indicator light you are referring to is the 'element on' light then the corresponding control switch has failed. Each control switch contains a switch that will illuminate a lamp to indicate a burner is on. This switch has probably stuck closed.
