Question about Facebook Social Network
Well, you are right, it's not your computer's problem. This is a common issue and it's mostly related to network connection. So, if you are accessing the internet through wireless, I wouldn't recommend you to play online games which needs lots of Bandwidth size. In the same way, Farmville is one of them, it needs a very high internet download as well as upload speed. I don't mean you are using a slow connection, but there are more problems with it. Some connection fluctuates (having unstable transfer rate). You can easily find out this by pinging to the server Ip address. When you keep pinging the server, you notice skipped data during the interval. This could be caused by some unidentified malwares or spyware running in the background and interrupting the connection. So to assure that these malicious malwares/spyware/virus aren't/isn't involved to your connection problem, run a full antivirus scan using an updated antivirus.
[almost every similar problem is related to interrrupted internet connection]
Also check and make sure that there's no download in progress while you are playing the game (farmville).
I would also suggest you to update both quicktime player and adobe flash player. Even if you had done so, please do it once again. You can download them from the links below:
Adobe flash player (open the link and click on the "get the latest version" and follow the onscreen instructions by providing positive inputs).
Quicktime Player (open the link, enter your email address and click "Download Now" button [by default, your country/location is selected itself]).
You can also try the game on another Browser like googlechrome or mozilla firefox.
Click here to download Google chrome
Click here to download Mozilla Firefox
Here's another useful application which helps a lot in system maintenance and performance, click here to download open the link, click "Download Now: no virus detected" button, wait for about 20 seconds and again click "Download file Now". Save it and install the program, now run the installed program (ccleaner), run both Cleaner and Registry, restart your computer and see the performance. It's important to run cleaner often so that there'll be no unused and unimportant temporarily files and cookies/caches.
If the problem after all these, let me know.
Thanks for using FixYa.
