Hi from The Gasket Guy, Inc.

I am Jeff Weisman and I can have someone come to you and give you a free estimate on the repair/replacement of your door heater. The price range for replacement (most likely solution) is from $189 to $299 depending on size and type of freezer. Amerikooler is usually toward the lower end of the price range, providing it is a standard freezer (-5 deg - +10) with an opening of less than 36X78.

Call me immediately at 561-889-3600 and I will have your problem solved in a "jiffy".

Freezer works but fridge remains warm.

The same fan that circulates air in the freezer also blows air in to the fridge. If you open the freezer door and hold the door switch closed you should hear the fan running. If not you have a failed motor or motor control. Look at the back wall of the freezer section and see if there is a heavy frost build up. If so. you have a defrost system problem. Please post back with what you find and with the complete model number and I will try to walk you through the steps of checking everything.
Thanks/Mike

My lfx25960sb lg refridgerator won't defrost it builds ice on the coils the heater looks ok

Looks cannot always tell if there is a problem with the defrost heater or defrost thermostat. Your model uses the=> 5300JK1005D Defrost Heater Assembly and the=> 6615JB2005H Defrost Sensor Unplug before working on your fridge. Can you find an ohm meter and remove he rear panel in the back of the freezer? I can walk you through this if to lie. Also tellme what type of frost pattern you see once the rear panel inside the freezer is removed. Completely frosted over? Half or less frosted over? Clump or ball of ice where the small tube enters the large copper tube on the evaporator? Just ask questions on your post here on Fixya I am here to help, Thanks, John Tripp Appliance 911

The Refrigerator side is warm, and the freezer side is not making enough ice,and the ice is not solid

Possibly the defrost heater could be faulty or the defrost thermostat or defrost thermistor (sometimes called D-Sensors I believe). If you turn off the fridge and let it defrost itself for 12 hours and then start it again, it may work fine for a week or two (or may even be totally fine in case you left the fridge or freezer door open by accident).

Nor-Lake t3000 freezer - door HOT

The door frame heater is probably damaged and grounded. Unfortunately, it is still energized causing less than the entire heater being utilized which will cause an extremely hot condition. I would look at replacing it. It is a pain to do but with some patience, it can be done.

Good luck and hope this helps.

Replacement door seal for walk in freezer

First, call Restaurant Parts and More (1-888-814-1110) and ask for Rick. He can help either get you the seal or have one custom made. I've used him for 15 years with great success. If you have model and serial, it would be even greater.
He can do the same for the heaters that go around the door frame.

Don't understand which "Line" you are referring to. In alot of cases, the drain on the drain pan is clogged. This causes water to overflow onto the floor. The drain can be clogged from trash getting into it. Most of the time, the drain heater is either not working or not ever installed. Water refreezes in drain line and causes the overflowing problem.
If this does not help, let me know. Clear up the "Line "question and maybe I can go alittle deeper into this.

Frost inside freezer door

there is a small electric heater along the door gasket where you see the frost building up, this heater has apparently stopped working. this will also cause the door to pop open due to a poor seal. feel around where the door gasket contacts the refrigerator and it should feel a little warm. if not then a service company can replace those heaters. should not be too expensive.

It may well be the defrost control. They have a turn slot to advance them if the timer quits. You need a little aptitude to find this and check it. If you think you can do it let me know, and I will walk you through it.

Norlake walk in fridge

Yes if the evaporator drain is blocked or not attached correctly it causes the humidity to remain in the refridgerator. Just opening the door will cause the warm are to enter and cause the symtoms of rain if the water is not taken out the drain properly.Hope this helps JT
