Question about Canon ZR70MC Mini DV Digital Camcorder
I just found my Canon NTSC ZR70 MC Camcorder again. I was pretty excited and I put my SD card in. I tried to record but it stops after 30 seconds!!!! Can someone please tell me how to work this thing :(
I have one like yours and the 30 seconds is all that you can get. This is how those crazy people made it!!!! Because the limit and the size of the memory cards in that time. The SD cards were small in size by the time they made that camera starting at 64MB NOT GB and then 128MB, 512MB. all of these were not big enough to handle videos. They were shortsighted because the maximum size of the SD card reached 2GB the is good enough 80 minutes videos that is 40 minutes per one gage. However, the tape can handle up to 90 minutes videos.

I think thats just how it is. card mode is severely limited. 30 seconds at lowest rez and 10 seconds at highest, which is not high. stick with the DV tape
