Question about Sony Handycam DCR-HC40 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
WHEN I TRY TO RECORD, THE COVER IS NOT OPEN LIGHT BEGINS TO BLINK AND THE COVER IS OPEN. IT ALSO HAS THIS HUMMING AND CLICKING SOUND. THE SCREENS LIGHTING FLICKERS WHILE IT IS RECORDING. I TRIED A MAXWELL MINI HEAD CLEANER, BUT THAT DIDN'T DO MUCH GOOD. WHAT COULD THE PROBLEM BE?
Lens cover error message comes when its not opend. There is a switch inside Front Cover (where lens and mic mounted) got bad contact. Open that Front cover and unscrew the circuit board, put 1 drop of W-40 cleaner oil and fix back all things.
