Question about Acer Computers & Internet
If the issue started as a random shut down problem it is likely one or more of the capacitors inside the monitor. i had a similiar problem with a acer al2017. it would require taking the monitor apart and replacing the bad capacitors. after you have it apart look for and feel the tops of the capacitors. any that feel rounded at the top need to be replaced. after that put it back together and you should have a working monitor.
