My solution is a bit primative but it will work. Beside grounding your brake wire you need to cut and build a switch on your gps antenna. When you flipped the switch off your gyro sensor does not know that you are in motion then it will allow you to watch video and when you want navigate just simply flip the gps antenna back on. Becareful and leave enough lenght between anteenna and connector and remember to insulate all spliced wires to prevent shortage. Let me know how it goes. Goodluck.

Hello. I am looking for the code for the dvd player to work on my pioneer avic d3 navigational system. How to I install the code?

Code? The parking brake wire needs to see ground to watch DVDs. You have to remove the yellow/black mute wire from the harness using a pick tool, then place that wire into the empty slot right above where it was, then ground it and the light green parking brake wire.

How can I watch dvd on my kenwood radio while I drive

you have to bypass the parking brake safety switch. Basically, right now it is wired to the ground on your parking brake. Figure out where it is by following the wire from the head unit. Disconnect it, and connect the parking brake wire to the ground for the radio itself.

AVIC-D3 Car DVD Player: how do i get my dvd player to play while driving...

Hi, it is entirely likely there is a handbrake signal wire in your radio loom - this needs to be grounded for the dvd to work. you can permanently ground it.
DISCLAIMER - DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK because it is there to prevent the driver from watching the dvd INSTEAD OF THE ROAD.
ONLY DO THIS IF THE DRIVER CANNOT SEE THE SCREEN FROM THE DRIVERS SEAT - THE AUTHORITIES WILL LOVE YOU

YOU NEED TO BUY A SWITCH FROM WALMART($3), 2 OR 3 PRONG, CONNECT THE GREEN(PARKING BRAKE WIRE) TO THE POWER PRONG ON THE SWITCH AND CONNECT A GROUND WIRE FROM THE GROUND PRONG ON THE SWITCH TO ANY PEICE OF METAL ON YOUR DASH...FLICK THE SWITCH TWO OR THREE TIMES AND NOW YOU CAN WATCH VIDEOS WHILE IN MOTION.
