I have a HL-R4667W DLP and today, I heard a loud sound like a prop and the colors became muddled. I turned off the TV and the LED's are all flashing

Usually when all the leds are flashing it means there is a defect with the lamp. Try replacing the lamp

This DLP tv have a colors wheel.The tv colors wheel,it dead.Have loud humming sound,motor noises and pictures flashes black&white within a picture.The colors wheel is dead and is spinning off of it axis and hitting of it sides motor walls.Tv must require a replacement of a colors wheel.Hire a tv tech. to do the job.The tv colors wheel is hard to replace.The tv colors wheel sit behind many manchanical parts,must take out even before u even can replacement the colors wheel itself.

Green vertical lines,minor. flashing goodback ground pic good sound . i have samsung dlp tv model hl-r4667w


the lines are from the vertical control, theres a minor short on the vertical board if not fixed the power supply will short and whole tv will go green call repair shop and get short fixed

Its your Lamp if you have sound and no picture.
CK the lamp Fan make sure it is running.

remove your Lamp and look in middle of it,that will tell you if it is busted.

DLP TV noise and picture


Hello,

This is not with the problem of lamp.

Your light engines COLOR wheel is damaged.

Replace Color Wheel.

Color Wheel problem.. to generate colors on a dlp the light is shine through a motorized wheel. that has different color filters on it. this is a motor and anthing that moves will eventally wear out. i just replaced the color wheel on a samsung today. standard for this to go out in about that time. i believed our shop charged 250 to put a new one in.
