Insert the storage card into another device (laptop with an adaptor ...). If the card isn't recognized then, it is faulty.

My htc leo is starting to freeze alot how do I fix that

I would say that you should try a hard reset.

HTC HD2 hard reset
If a normal reset does not solve a system problem, you can perform a factory reset. After a factory reset, the phone is restored to its default settings-the way it was when you first purchased it and turned it on. You will lose any programs you installed, data you entered, and settings you customized on your phone, and only Windows Mobile software and other pre-installed programs will remain.

There are two ways to do a factory reset. One way is perform a clear storage process through the phone settings. The other way is to perform a hard reset by pressing certain buttons on your phone, in cases when you are unable to start up your phone and enter the phone settings.

Warning! Your phone will be set back to factory default settings. Make sure that any additional installed programs and important data on your phone have been backed up before you perform a factory reset.

Important If Encrypt files when placed on a storage card is enabled, back up all files from the storage card before performing a factory reset (Clear Storage or hard reset) or updating the operating system. Otherwise, you will no longer be able to access the encrypted files on the storage card. Use ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center to transfer files between your storage card and computer. After the procedure, copy your files back to the storage card.

To perform a HTC HD2 Leo hard reset with buttons
1. With the phone turned off, press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons, then press the END/POWER button shortly and release it. You will then see this message on the screen.

htc_hd2_leo_hard_reset1.jpg

2. Release the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
3. Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.

Hello! I have a problem. My HTC Diamon 2 in Russian I need to change it from Russian to english.is it possible? and can u help me please how to do it step by step, Thank U VERY MUCH

If you perform a hard reset, it should allow you to choose the language the phone displays. Just be sure to back up all your info/programs you have on the phone because it will go back to factory default when you do this!!!

Performing a hard reset
If a normal reset does not solve a system problem, you can perform a hard (full) reset. After a hard reset, the device is restored to its default settings—the way it was when you first purchased it and turned it on. You will lose any programs you installed, data you entered, and settings you customized on your device, and only Windows Mobile® software and other pre-installed programs will remain.
Warning! Your device will be set back to factory default settings. Make sure that any additional installed programs and/or user data have been backed up before you perform a hard reset.
Important If Encrypt files when placed on a storage card is enabled, backup all files from the storage card before using Clear Storage, hard reset, or updating the operating system. Otherwise you will no longer be able to access the encrypted files on the storage card. Use ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center to transfer files between your storage card and computer. After the procedure, copy your files back to the storage card.
To perform a hard reset
1.
With the device turned off, press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons, then briefly press the POWER button.
2. Continue pressing the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons until you see this message on the screen:
This operation will delete all your personal data, and reset all settings to the manufacturer default settings. Press VolUp to restore manufacturer defaults, or press other keys to cancel.
3.
Release the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
4. Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.
Using Clear Storage
If you can access the device settings, you can use Clear Storage to reset your device back to factory default settings.
1. Tap Start > Settings, and then tap All Settings.
2. On the System tab, tap Clear Storage.
3. Enter "1234" and then tap Yes.

I have htc p3400 i need storage card as my default memory

...to storage card? I want to transfer lots of files from my computer to my HTC Touch via Bluetooth -- however, I can't seem to change the default file path of the transferred file -- which is on phone memory. When I'm about to send a file, the HTC Touch will halt the process because it does not have enough memory even though I have 1gb free space on my storage card. How do you do this?

Restore information

I can understand you very well since I use a PDA also and this battery problem is an issue for me too. I assume that your backup file is in your storage card and is a standalone exe file (means you don't need your backup software being installed first to start a recovery process). You can remove your storage card from your PDA first and back it up to a PC to ensure that your only backup file is safe. Next, you can do another hard reset to your PDA and do all the settings steps again. After that, you can try to recover some of your data by starting the recovery process and performing not a full backup, but just the necessary data first. I am recommending this step because you have a PDA that's main storage area is very limited (like mine) and if you are normally using it filled up, backup process can be terminated before it finishes because of the backup file is nearly equal to the total main storage area,  and this causes your device to stop working even after your incomplete recovering process. This is mainly becuase recovering process needs lots of space and when the process is near the end, it can't have enough space on main storage area to continue. So, you can try to recover the necessary data first (Softwares, contacts, appointments, ...), then, if it is successfull, you can open your backup file again and this time you can select the other personal documents that has been left in the first process. (I hope your backup software supports selecting the needed data to recover.)

Hi what are the zip files for?

Basicly, your PDA has these kinds of storage areas:

1. Main Storage (Where windows is) 3. Storage Card (2GB in your case)
If your main storage area is full, your PDA will start to show up messages that your memory is full. In this case, if your personal zip files, or other files are in your main storage area, you can transfer them to your Storage Card (cut & paste) using the file explorer in the start menu to free up some space in your Main Storage area. But be carefull while doing this process, because some files are needed to stay in the main storage area for the windows to function properly. So you should consider only transfering personal data like notes, pictures, etc..

Error 50

The "E50" error code indicates formatting a storage card has failed. Solution To clear the "E50" error, try performing the following procedure. 1. Try using another storage card. If you have another CF card, try loading it in the camera. If the error code is not displayed when the other storage card is loaded, there may be something wrong with the first one rather than with the camera. 2. Use your computer's ScanDisk utility to check the storage card for errors. Use ScanDisk to check the storage card for card error or card failure. Refer to the instruction manual for your operating system or Windows Help for further instructions. (If you are using a Macintosh, use the "Disk First Aid" program to check for card error or card failure. Refer to the instruction manual for your Macintosh OS for further information.) Be sure to back up the data on the storage card on the computer before you check the storage card. If a card error or card failure occurs when you use your computer's ScanDisk, there is something wrong with the storage card. Follow ScanDisk's on-screen instructions to solve the problem.

Error 30

The "E30" error code is displayed when reading/writing data on a storage card has failed. Especially, the error code "E30" may appears when you tried to remove a storage card while the camera was processing data. Solution To clear the "E30" error, try performing the following procedure. 1. Try using another storage card. If you have another storage card, try loading it in the camera. If the error code is not displayed when the other CF card is loaded, there may be something wrong with the first one rather than with the camera. Refer to the instruction manual for your Macintosh OS for further information.) Be sure to back up the data on the storage card on the computer before you check the CF card. If a card error or card failure occurs when you use your computer's ScanDisk, there is something wrong with the storage card. Follow ScanDisk's on-screen instructions to solve the problem. 3. Format the storage card with your camera Try to format the storage card with your camera. Please refer to the "Camera User Guide" for your camera for instructions on formatting CF cards. Also, please note that formatting a storage card will erase all data on the card. Once the storage card is formatted, follow the procedure described in step 2 above and use your computer's ScanDisk on your computer to check the CF card for errors. If a card error or card failure occurs when you are using computer's ScanDisk, there is something wrong with the storage card. If turning the camera off and then on again, and then performing steps 1 to 3 above fails to clear the error, a camera malfunction may have occurred. Please contact the retail store where you purchased the camera or the nearest Canon service center. If the error code is displayed right after you took a picture, the image may not have been recorded. Switch the camera to playback mode to check if it was recorded. Precautions for handling a storage card: - Do not remove a storage card or turn the camera off while the camera is recording, loading, or erasing data on a storage card. - storage cards are high-precision electronic devices. Do not bend, force, or subject them to shocks or vibration. - Do not attempt to disassemble or alter a storage card. - Place the storage card in the supplied case for storage. - Moving a storage card rapidly between temperature extremes may cause condensation in the card, leading to potential malfunctions. To avoid condensation, place the storage card in a sealed plastic bag before moving it into a different temperature area and allow it to adjust slowly to the new temperature. If condens
