Question about Eclipse Audio Players & Recorders
Try this, Remove and reinstall all USB controllers
To remove and reinstall all USB controllers, follow these steps:
Click Start, click Run, type sysdm.cpl in the Open box, and then click OK.
Click the Hardware tab.
Click the Device Manager button.
Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.
Right-click every device under the Universal Serial Bus controllers node, and then click
Uninstall to remove them one at a time.
Restart the computer, and then reinstall the USB controllers.
Plug in the removable USB storage device, and then test to make sure that the issue is resolved.
IF this does NOT make it work, then it has failed, these things fail often, it is very common, which is why one should back up. But if like me one never does ..lol

The firmware crashed for an unknown reason - the player has frozen. If you're lucky this is just temporary so removing the battery, waiting 10 minutes and putting the battery back on will be enough to reset it. If it's the same then it's a hardware problem and the unit should be sent to them for diagnostic.
In that case you can try to recover your music files manually: plug it in the USB, open My Computer , open it (it should be there as a new Removable Disk) then copy/paste all the files to your pc.
