SOURCE: HP LaserJet 3030 Message: Scanning error cannot connect

I had the same problem on XP and Vista and it turns out that if your don't have the HP Toolbox Running/starting up with pc this caused my problem. Once I lunched it to startup with I am able to scan using the Scan To Button on my Scanner.

SOURCE: i get scanner error5 problem how to solve this

It would appear that the Error 5 listed on your MFP is caused by a faulty flatbed scanner. See the HP thread for details

Check the warranty on your MFP - if still in warranty, contact HP for a repair.

SOURCE: SCANNER ERROR 12

it is a physical brocken piece that supports scanner mechanism.
if you open that plate /scanner mechanism and if you drill that plastic sheet and try some manufactureed alluminium or metal projection and place it in the hole drilled by you and put washer and screew so that that supports ;the scanner mechanism and your scanner /printer works . the scanner mechanism may costs you around 3,000-00 rupees.

Want to check ink level

Check the device control panel (front panel display ), which indicates when a print cartridge or the imaging drum is low or empty. The control panel also indicates when a non-HP print cartridge is first installed.

57.09 error was displayed on hp color laserjet CM6040

Fan problem.
Either the Scanner fan or the Control panel fan has failed.
Could also be a power supply problem...not getting voltage to the fan in question.
If it's under warranty, call HP. If not call a printer tech.
