How do i connect the bluetooth?

depending on your device usually there will be a bluetooth connection on the device which plugs into a usb port on your computer
you will have to make both your computer and the device enable bluetooth connection(make it discoverable) you might need to download some bluetooth drivers or software to activate your blutooth device

I installed xp on my compaq presario v3000 laptop which came with vista.i have also installed the driver for this but i can not find any shortcut keys or any icon for using this bluetooth device.

which bluetooth device mobile ph Ipad iphone navigator.??????.......
first connect the blutooth device then you must turn on the make this active/dicoverable or and search for any bluetooth devices in both the bluetooth device and your computer the blutooth device should automatically search for any devices or you might have to do it manually click start click on my computer you will see your c:drive cd/dvd drives and any usb drives and you might see your bluetooth device

Hello,
Click here to download the driver.
Now install it on your windows 2000.

Note: Windows xp will automatically recognize your dongle without external driver. I personally recommend you to use xp

Bluetooth not installing on WinXP

Hi,

I looks like Acer designed this Notebook for Windows Vista only.

Have you wiped Vista and installed XP instead? If so is there a particular reason, like an old piece of software not working with Vista?

I would be inclined to put Vista back on it. Vista is much better and safer than XP once you get used to it, Especially on a laptop.

If you really want to keep XP, try looking for an older Acer notebook with the same bluetooth adaptor that came with XP installed and see if the driver works from that, its a long shot though.
