Question about Myron & Davis AD-212 Car DVD Player

Static while listening to a dvd through the radio or wireless headset

I can hear the movie but there is a lot of back ground static noise. I have changed stations on the receiver, still no luck?

Have you tried changing the radio station. I had this problem and just changed the station on the radio remote and the radio itself.

I have put a boss in-dash dvd player iny car and i ran the bypass parking brake wire to the ground wire, and it plays but when i start my car a whizzing like static noise. And everytime i press the gas it...


That is static off the motors electrical's system. Go to a radio shack and get a noise suppressor the positive end go on the positive end of the radio and the negative end go to ground this will bleed off the static just like a capacitor in a power supply. Ask one of the old guys at Radio Shack.

I have engine noise thru the speakers that increases as the rpm's increase. The unit is grounded properly,


sounds like you need a 12v surpressor kit....its fitted to the live feed of your head-unit...easy to fit,and not expensive, the purpose of it is to surpress static noise

Head unit radio works fine but static when i try to play cd's


i had quality auto sound install it for me, and they added a pulse switch. my dvd works while i drive the car.

No Audio through the radio


turn off the dual audio..by pushing the 3 and 5 button on the radio unitwhere the small headphone light on the radio is off and you should get dvd sound on the radio....that puts it in single mode not dual mode..also play with the mode button on the back of the center console ...

i have a 2005 f-150 and it was bought used, no wireless headsets and remote but i learned if you push buttons 2 and 4 together on the cddeck you can use the radio through the speakers and the kids in the back can used the headphone jacks to listen to the dvd player.

Run a Lens cleaner kit on it. That is one of those Discs with a coth like material that can be lightly soaked with a cleaning fluid. You can get them at WalMart or Game Stop

Lots of static when playing over the stereo speakers, and the screen seems loose


sorry but what u have is called a fm modulator some are adjustable some not go to your local car audio shop to find out or take your headunit out and look behind it if so tune the fm mod to a different station one thats not being used there are three preset station on the fm mod but remember just because theres no station on that radio channel were u live dont mean there wont be one when u go into town thats the bad thing about fm mods best thing to do is get a indash cd dvd radio and as far as the lose screen just hand tighten the screws flip down the screen look up there should be 4 or 6 screws there just tighten them up a little this is normal

Poor radio reception


you wanna boast up the radio signal?? There are ant. boasters around, But if your far away from a radio station your radio cant make that weak signal any higher in amplitude. All you would be amplifying is noise or static. Sorry
