Question about Health & Beauty

Open Question

We have a QUINTON Q710 ECG which I am told has a bad "brain" (pcb?). Can this board be replaced? I have been able to repair my own big screen, can solder, etc.,. Is board replacement relatively simple on this? I have looked for sources for a new board and this is proving very difficult. Does anyone know this repair process? Any leads for a parts source? Part #? Many thanks, Donald

This problem can be caused by bad connections on the LVDS cable (the signal cable from the main pcb to the display control pcb.), sometimes cleaning the control pcb socket/cable plug can cure this. Other possibilities are: the display control PCB, or more probably, the display itself.

Artia 6100 machine showing err out of paper.

hi,
ur machines paper sensing sensor have some problem. did u used the paper with black mark on the side.
remove the paper cover . u can see a black square sensor near the side of thermal printer. clean the sensor with an ear bud. do not use any solutions. then check again.
remember use good quality paper. if the black mark on the side of the paper is not perfect this problem can occur (black mark on the paper is for page count and paper sensing)

Good Day,
You a problem with the Hyper Board, MVPU14, there are about 10 Caps that are bad. This Board is not availible. This Board must be repaired.
Now, some Companies can repair it, most will send it off to get rebuilt. It will cost about $350-$450 for repair.
Call an Authorized Service Center for repairs.

Good Luck, big IRISH.

Caps that go bad, they are CM mounted: CZ52,CX261, CX270,CX230, CX178, CX221, C514, CX241, CX670 &CX541, aND VERY HARD TO REPLACE WITHOUT DOING DAMAGE TO PCB.

I have a quinton club track treadmill that posts an E203 error

E203 = Motor unable to run. Usually caused by the VSD Lower Board. This board is about 14" square on a Quinton Clubtrack Hyperdrive 3.0

Rather difficult to remove escpecially if your not familair with electronical compnents in a tight space.

My reapir coast $374 from J&R Technical Services and exactly one year later I got the exact same code. Warranty is 90 days.

It appears they rebuilt one of the components on the board called a Phase Modulator. There are three of them. They stated they had replaced it, but upon close inspection it appears that simply replaced the bad micro-component on the modulator and reinstalled the exact same phase again.

I'm debating whether to trust them once again. Little choice though since they control the market and have the equipment to reset the board upon repair. Nobody at thome has this equipment.

1. Turn on unit.

2. Press and hold VIDEO 1 button.

3. While pressing VIDEO 1 button, press Speaker A.

4. You should see "CLEAR" on the display for a second and the unit will go on stand-by mode.
