most probably the problem can be solved by installing the pc suit of your mobile(dvd/cd you get along with your mobile)in your vostro
another problem may be due to the bluetooth driver installed in your lap so just go through the settings or if need reinstall.

My favourite is "P2KToolsVS 3.0.8.864" google it. I can help set it up if you need. You will need P2k drivers to do anything cool like upload games. Otherwise if your looking for a basic software to text from pc, upload wallpapers, sound files etc, just download the motorola program "motorola phone tools" (again google it). Once you have them and your having trouble getting them to go i can help set them up, it took me 2 days to get it soughted.

Sign up to enter the site. (It's as easy as 1-2-3)

As a member, you can then download the Motorola Phone Tools (PC Suite) for your PC for free.

**Make sure you download the USB Drivers, too.

The download for the PC Suite is in .zip format. You'll need to unzip it to a new folder. (You can create a new folder on your desktop)

After unzipping the file to the new folder, double click on it to open > locate the >>
Setup icon and double click on it.

This will install Motorola Phone Tools (PC Suite) on your PC.

Start the Phone Tools Program by double clicking on the icon on your desktop.

Download the Data Cable/Modem drivers and attach your phone to your PC with a USB data cable.
(You may also be able to use Bluetooth)

The PC Suite will include all of your options on the left hand side. <>
