Question about Bryant 463AAC008BA Air Conditioner

1 Answer

Small diameter lines that run to the dryer are iced to twice their diameter. Bryant 3yrs old, after being off , runs nice and cool for 2 or 3 hrs. Only iced up on one end of a connection -- small dia. The larger dia. line on the other end of the conn. is ok

MY GE TFX30PRY still cools but doesn't get cold enough to freeze things. Freezer side is about the temperature the 'fridge side should be and the 'fridge side is slightly warmer

Since you say that it still cools, you need to start out with a thorough cleaning of the condenser grill. If it the air flow is blocked or the condenser grill is extremely dirty or clogged with pet hair, then the unit won't be able to dispel the heat buildup cause by the coolant running through the compressor.

I have found that if you use an air compressor blowing from the rear and a vacuum from the front works pretty good.

I have a bryant fin. 15 years old. not getting cool air.i change the fiter.the fan is blowing.

Check the power to the outdoor AC...make sure it is running. If it is, someone will need to check to make sure the compressor is running and that the temperatures & pressures are good.

Liquid line is cool coming from condenser indoor air not cold enough. Unit runs constantly at temps of 90 to maintain 80 inside

If the compressor is running at 90 there should be hot air coming out of the condensing units fan, if not it could be damaged valves in the compressor especially if the suction line is colder than normal like ice cold.
Obviously if the compressor is not running then you have other electrical problems.

Will car run hot if oil change is needed

no, and oil change will not stop the car from getting hot,,, check to see if your cooling fans are coming on, if not, check fuses and relays, check coolant level

Referagator does not go below 51degrees

first of all switch off your refigerator for about 8 hours.. than again switch it on. now place your thermostart at 4. now let it run for about 2 hrs...... after that also if your refrigerator won't decrease its temperature than please replace the blower inside it........... or else contact your service authority.
have a nice day :-)

Bryant Legacy Line air conditioning not blowing cool air..

Your outdoor condenser is in heat mode. Check the wires on the thermostat. Sounds like a small wiring problem and nothing else. Good luck. Please keep me posted as to you progress.

FRIDGE FREEZER SIDE STINKS

That is your problem.
The plastic supply lines over time deteriorate and wind up causing the water to smell.
Replace the plastic line with a stainless steel ice maker water supply line available at any home improvement center. They are 1/4 inch inside diameter lines and fittings.
They come in 5/10 and 20 foot lenghts.
After you do this run about 2 gallons of water through the water in the door dispenser. Discard the first 3 drops of ice from the ice maker.
Your ice quality will improve.

Same as 6-9-08 freezer ices up, frig won't cool

Not sure if this will help but I have/had a similar problem with my admiral side by side (approx 12 yrs old not sure of the model #)and I think I fixed it this morning..
At the back of the fridge compartment I removed the cover (covers the light and controls) the Freezer setting just seems to adjust a flap that sends cold air into the fridge.. around the flap was a mass of ice.. what seemed to be happening was as this 'vent' was blocked with ice no cold air entered the fridge and the temp stayed high and hence the stat did not cut out .. compressor running flat out 24/7..... I removed the ice and it now seems to be working better (2-3 hrs will see what its like when I get home from work..!)
