Hi, I have a casblanca Advance Touch Remote Control Model W-62. The display works and I can see all the controls. However, it will NOT turn off the FAN nor the LIGHT. It doesn't seem to be transmitting directly to the Fan. Again, the display works and my husband checked that it is in fact transmitting. However the fan will not stop or the light turn off. What can I do?

Press the end of cycle signal- button for 3 seconds and it should work..

I have a slingbox and I am based in the UK. I need help from someone to create a binary file I can use within the slingplayer software to control my sharp TUTV502H remotely....

I can get most of the buttons working using code 44 of code 62, hope this helps.

If you don't use the remote control is it okay? If so, tear apart your remote control, use a Q-tip to clean all the lines in the circuit board where the rubber contacts touch. Then make sure that the rubber buttons don't have any 'gunk' on them that are making them stick. Clean the rubber pad with a qtip with dishsoap. Dry well, put back together and see if she works. Report back on your success. Good luck.

Try putting the machine into diagnostic mode. If it won't enter diagnostic mode, then you need to replace the main control board.

DIAGNOSTIC TEST

The washer must be empty and the control must be in the OFF

state before pressing the touch-pad sequence to start the test.

Starting the Test Mode

■ Close the door.

■ Push CONTROL/ON (if present on this model).

■ Select the DRAIN/SPIN cycle.

■ Select NO SPIN by pressing the SPIN SPEED touch-pad.

■ Push PREWASH OPTION four times within five seconds. (If

PREWASH OPTION is not present on this model, press EXTRA

RINSE four times within five seconds.) C:00 will light up on the

display.

If the Starting procedure fails, push the PAUSE/CANCEL touch-pad,

then repeat the starting procedure.

Test Program Control

In order to advance to the next step of the test procedure, push

PREWASH OPTION touch-pad two times. If PREWASH OPTION is not

present on this model, press EXTRA RINSE two times.

Hi, I think you have a something (an object or liquid) inside the buttons that is causing a short on the remote control board. When you turn the remote control over, the object does not touch the remote control board, this is why the remote control works. I would turn the remote control over and just tap on it firmly a few times. if that does not work, then you might use a blow dryer on the remote control Key.
