Flama Stainless Steel Cordless Electric Kettle

Turns off before water boils

posted by 907kwiltr on Apr 27, 2008

I have the FLAMA K2000-B and it has worked fine for several years now, then just recently it started turning off when the water is not boiling yet. The temperature is about 140* when it just shuts off. Any clues?
Thanks!

The thermostat may be defective, or if there are electronics, it may be the circuit that monitors and does the control from the thermostat.

The unit would need service. Usually, these are not worth to service.
