Question about Microsoft Office Professional 2007 Full Version for PC

1 Answer

I have a full version of MS Office Pro 2007 on a crashed hard drive that is hooked up to my computer as a slave drive. I have a trial version of MS Office Pro 2007 on my main hard drive with Win 7 OS. The trial time has expired and I cant find my original Key Code from my first MS Office 2007 Pro purchase. I do not want to purchase the product again since I have already purchased one time. Is there a way I can go into my old hard drive and locate the original key code and use it on my new trial version MS Office 2007 Pro?

This is what i can sugest the first option is either you call microsoft for help directly or if you wish you can download a alternate pack excatly same as ms office from www.openoffice.org this is well compatible with ms office as well.

Or if you can access your office from your slave harddrive go to any office document right click on it lick on properties you will get a window then go to detail and see if you get the product key there.

Apart from the above there is no other way.

I want to download excel 2007

Hi

As already stated, full, genuine licenced versions of Microsoft Products cannot usually be downloaded.

It is, however generally possible to download Free 60 day Trial versions of some MS Office products.

Microsoft no longer offer and have withdrawn Free Downloads for MS Office 2007 Trial Products. All their efforts are now focused on marketing and support for MS Office 2010.

Microsoft often does this after a new product has been launched.

If you are determined to use MS Office 2007, then you will have to purchase a licensed copy of the software from a reputable, reliable supplier, such as Amazon (www.amazon.com).

Online offers of Free Downloads of MS Office 2007 products are probably almost universally either not genuine, illegal, unlicensed or pre-used licence versions, downloadable only from illicit download sites or are masquerading non-existent MS Office 2007 products as camouflague for the marketing of other (often unrelated) software, products or services.

Even if you do succeed in finding a genuine download site for MS Office 2007 products AND manage to complete a successful, uncorrupted download, you will still have to purchase a separate, genuine, unused Licence for the product before you can successfully install it, use it with confidence, register it, activate it and download and benefit from Updates and Security Patches for it from Microsoft.

Go to: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/try

Download MS Office Excel 2010 60 Day Trial or MS Office 2010 Pro 60 Day Trial (which includes Excel 2010 60 Day Trial ) and install it, carefully following each step.

If you do not want to buy or cannot afford a full, licensed copy of MS Office Excel 2010 or MS Office 2010 Pro, and/or prefer to pursue the downloading option, consider the latest version of a genuine, comparable free program -

Open Office - downloadable from:

www.openoffice.org

You can use Open Office simultaneously with MS Office Excel 2010 60 Day Trial or MS Office Pro 2010 60 Day Trial.

If you delete MS Office Excel 2010 60 Day Trial or MS Office 2010 Pro 60 Day Trial, well before the 60 day expirty date, and Remove all components of it from Add or Remove Programs (or its equivalent in your Operating System) and restarting before downloading and installing, it is usually possible to enter into a further 60 Day trial period.

I hope this helps.

I downloaded a free trial of Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 and did not receive the product key. Any suggestions?

Hi

You don't say where you downloaded from.

Start>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs

Remove MS Office and MS Office Trial completely (including all components).

Don't worry, any documents you have already created will not be affected.

Resatart the computer.

Go to http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/try

Download MS Office 2010 Pro 60 Day Trial and install again, carefully following each step.

If you do not wat to buy or cannot afford full MS Office, consider a free, comparable program -

Open Office - from:

www.openoffice.org.

You can use this simultaneously with MS Office Trial.

If you delete MS Office Trial before the 60 day expiry, and follow the above procedure, removing all components and restarting before downloading and installing, you can enter into a 2nd 60 Day trial period.

Hope this helps.

I need to reinstall my MS Office Pro 2007 Upgrade (because my hard drive crashed) but I can't find my Office 2003 disk now which is required to install the Upgrade. Is there a work around? Thanks!

In this scenario i will recommend to download open office. It is a perfect replacement of ms office. Once u start using it u will hardly be able to understand any difference. http://filehippo.com/download_openoffice/ U can use the mentioned link to download open office free of cost and this a full version too. But one thing. Open office does not have any email client like outlook.

Installing MS Office 97 Pro, if I have trial of 2007.

Hi there.
Providing the disk you had with your old computer has the product key with it you should have no problems at all installing it, just make sure you uninstall the MS office 2007 first before you install MS office 97.

Thanks for choosing FixYa!!

I bought a laptop with microsoft prof preinstalled

That's nasty...contact the folks who sold you the computer and find out why there was only a trial version instead of a full version. Boy would I squeal.....
Now if you get no satisfaction from either the computer company or (good luck) Microsoft... Here is a great plan "B". Go to this site and download Open Office, FREE...It works exactly like MS Office is completely compatible with MS Office into and out of...The programs in suite match up extremely well...over 50,000,000 folks are using it...OH an did mention FREE, not $379.00 for the pro suite.
http://download.openoffice.org/

Click on the big green bar...you'll love it, I just saw 139,000,000 souls googled it...

MS office trial version 2007

A1 My opinion-Yes. I wouldn't do it. These are going for $120-$300 on eBay. Negatives: (1) Is it legit? (2) No hard copy if you crash. You could always make one...maybe.

A2 It would be best to uninstall the trial version using the control panel Add and Remove Programs to avoid any conflicts.
