I doubt this is a fuse problem. Could be the heating element has failed.

Thanks Folks... saved me some $$$ on my DCS-WO-227BK !
Part ordered direct cost $87 vs. part ($140) + labor ($125) from service agency.
Turn off power (50 amp circuit switch in electical panel), removed some screws and replaced part #211696 (DCS EOC DOUBLE DSP) as outlined by duder999.

Need illusrated wireing diagram for 18 year old defy gemini petit chef electric stove

Oven:
power comes in, goes to overtemp > timer > function switch > thermostat > element then back to neutral
fan & light come on with function or thermostat switch.
what else do you need to connect?
Oh, hotplates. Power in > infinite switch > hotplate and indicator then back to neutral.
Watch out for two phase with indicator light.

I will soon purchase a GE Double Oven (no stove top). I need to know what amperage I need to wire my kitchen for. 30? 40? 50? thanks.

A full upright range including 4 hotplates, oven and grill elements is generally rated about 8.0 to 10.0 kilowatts. The normal circuit in Aust. is a 32 amp circuit. Check the kilowatt rating of the double oven but I don't think it will be any higher than 6.0 kilowatt. If so the 30 amp circuit will be fine.

The hot plate is heating up when the selector is in off position

Hotplate heating up when regulator/selector switched off. Hi ,this is gil1714 in Scotland. Two possibilities on this one, 1) the regulator is faulty:- replace
2) if the control circuit (regulator) is wired on the neutral side the hotplate may be leaking current to
earth, thereby completing the circuit. This would only occur on a supply that was not protected by
an RCD. If so replace hotplate. Hope this is useful,
