Question about Dell Studio 1737 Laptop
Freezing and lagging are indicators that your pc or laptop files are becoming corrupted, you have to save the data you want and re-install windows and the drivers.
After you have re-installed windows and the drivers you can upgrade the ram to increase the speed but it is a combination of ram hard drive and the cpu.
I would just re-install windows and the drivers first, and then assess the pc or laptops performance.
Remember only run programs that are compatible and recommended for that pcs or laptops configuration.
A lot of people update there software programs not realizing that there pc or laptops may need more ram to cope with the updated software programs and there pc or laptops struggle to run the programs.
Slowing it down and then files becoming corrupted.
