Question about Televison & Video
That sounds like an LCD panel or the part that sends the electrical signal to it..The TV sends small electrical signals through the panel with small variations which cause the picture to appear.If either one of those goes bad,the picture will disappear.Since you were able to get a good picture with a couple of tries,I would say the emitter died.It didn't quite want to get working,but it did.Then it finally said okay,uncle!Please let me know how you make out.As I said,it could be either,but I lean towards emitter.Good luck!
