PH of water is important. Buffer pH at PH 5 . Then add 2% Roundup. Homesprayer is 1 lt therefore 2 % is 20 ml.
in a 20 lt Rucksack sprayer a 2% is 400 ml.
If weeds are above kneeheight and thick use a 3% solution.

Mixing ratio roundup

Don't really catch your question, but 30 ml per liter is a good strong ratio. Some labels tell you to mix less, but not all weeds die if a weaker solution is mixed. Some more hardy weeds will not even turn brown. Also check the active ingredient grams per liter Ours are 480g/L. It differs from country to country as well as other suppliers selling it under another name.

I have used Roundup weed killer in the past, and am satisfied. But I no longer have the instructions about how much product to mix per gallon (or quart) of water. I use small amounts, like a quart sprayer....

I have a 5ltr can of Roundup and the dilution ratio for general week killing is 1 part Roundup to 4 parts water. I use this ratio all the time and it workes a treat.

Whats the mix ratio for a weed wand useing roundup concerntrate? thank you

It will depend on which roundup product (there are many, many different ones) your using, what type of sprayer, and what type of weeds your treating. If your directions are missing, or your not sure how to interpret something, I recommend going to any home depot, lowes, ace hardware, etc, and ask them for help. You can also visit Monsanto's web site. here is a link with many of the Labels that include directions, and mixture ratios. http://www.monsanto.com/products/Pages/msds-labels.aspx Good Luck!

Need to know how to mix round up and water

Annual and perennial weeds can be controlled with a mixture of 6 fluid ounces of Roundup (12 tablespoons) per gallon of water. Small weed seedlings can be killed with half this strength: 3 ounces per gallon. When using Roundup Super Concentrate, mix 2.5 ounces (5 tbsp.) with a gallon of water to control most weeds and a half-strength solution for small weeds. Roundup Pro Concentrate is the strongest solution available. Spray a mixture of 2 ounces (4 tbsp.) on weeds and half that amount of concentrate on emerging plants. Since Roundup doesn't discriminate between weeds and other plants, use the least amount of herbicide possible to protect desirable vegetation.
