Question about LG Computers & Internet
Every monitor I have seen in the last decade would put a notice on the screen if the input cable is detached.
It should say something like "Monitor is working-check cable" or "No input."
Regardless of operating system you wish to install, any of them will choose a basic VGA resolution or at least text, to display the first messages, and if the monitor is working, you should also be able to see the initial text messages from the BIOS.
If you are seeing nothing under any of those mentioned conditions, you may just have a 'DOA' monitor; it happens.
