Unlock a Blackberry 8830 with Telus (by 4 users)

I have a Blackberry 8830 (cdma/GSM) phone. and i was wondering if i could Unlock this phone so i can use a different sim card on it when i travel to countries where telus does not have roaming partners.

its a blackberry 8830 telus, my brother sent it from canda. i want to unlock and use it in india.

I am looking to unlock a verizon 8830 too. Verizon isnt very helpful with that. Anyone out there who's done this?

WizThese phones come unlocked. You can use then on networks overseas, however not in North America. There are 4 frequency on a phone and the ones the Blackberry 8830 supports are not in Canada or the USA. This allows to avoid you taking it other networks.
